I'm going to introduce my home town TENSUI. It places at north of Tamana. I like my town. It is a country. There are beautiful nature. I want you to know about Tensui.
First, I'm going to tell you about special view. People can see special view from some places of Tensui. Many people visit Tensui to see it. Especially from "Genyama Park", "Kusamakura Onsen Tensui" and Some part of Tensui's mountains we can see wonderful view. Please visit there and see it.
There are good place hot springs in Tensui. I'm going to introduce some of them. KusamakuraOnsen Tensui is the most famous hot spring in my town. Many people visit there from other prefectures. Oama Onsen Nakoikan is the oldest hot spring in my town. it is historical hot spring. Do you know Natume-soseki?? He have visited this hot spring and wrote a "Kusamakura". You can stay at Nakoikan.
Next, there are many special products in Tensui. I'm going to introduce you some of them. Mandarin is the most popular crop in Tensui. Mandarins of Tensui are very good. It is sweet and sour. Good balance!!! many farmhouse in tensui grow it. In my town, there are many many mandarin groves. Strawberry is also special product of Tensui. It is not so popular as much as mandarins. Tensui's strawberry is very beautiful and sweet.
Last, I'm going to talk about water of Tensui. Water is the pride of my town. It is very clean and cold, having been chosen "Good water" by government. Ota-no-Maruike is the most famous park about clean water in Tensui. Many people visit there to get clean water or to swim from around Kumamoto. Sometimes people from other prefecture visit there.

My University
I'm a student of Kumamoto Gakuen University. I study English as my major in my University, so some teachers from foreign country teach us English. I'm going to introduce my teachers!!!
First I introduce Mr. Lavin.
He is Mr. Lavin!! He is our English teacher. He teaches us writing.
He is very interesting. He always says joke in Japanese!! "Iindayo～! Green dayo～!!" Like this....
I like his class because his class is very fun through him!!
Next Mr. Morrow.
He teaches us speaking class. He is always cheerful and interesting!! I often lough during his class. He is very nice teacher. I like his class. I know his wife, because she was my teacher when I was high school student. She taught me of course English!!
Lastly, Mr. Minoer.
He is our teacher who teach us listening class. He live in Tamana.... I live in Tamana too!!!!! I was very surprised when I knew it. He always wears very cute tie. He has many character ties!! He also very kind.

In my city, there are many hot springs. I like them. Especially I like "Kusamaku
ra-Onsen" which is in my town. This photo is it. It has very good open-air bath which we can see beautiful view like mount Unzen. "Tamana-Onsen" is also very famous and popular!!

Every September, "Tmana odawara Festival" is held. At this Festival, the race which strong men compete to roll a big heavy straw bag of rice is held. This race is main event of this Festival. Many people come this Festival to se
e the race. 20th May, this race was televised on a program "The! TETHUWAN! DASH!!".

My city has the biggest five-storied pagoda in "Renge-in"(蓮華院)". The pagoda is the first one which people can training in the pagoda. Like this, there are many historical things in my city!! Come and visit them(^^)v

Mandareins of my town are very very nice!! You can see them(→)!! Don't they look good(>_<)??!!♪ There are many mandarin groves in my town. In early summer, we can smell good fragrance of them. I love that season. I really recommend you to eat our town's mandarins!!

Parson
Do you know him→?? He is Chisyu Ryu who is a chief priest at "temple Ryu" and also very famous actor. He had appeared in some movies, for example "Otoko-ha-thuraiyo" which is very popular and famous movie. His home town is same as my home town "Tensui-machi". He is a granduncle of my friend. His temple is near my house. I think you maybe have seen him on TV!!
